Some users are experiencing jerky or laggy movements using their magic mouse or trackpad. The movement of the cursor is not smooth and skips. This is a known Apple issue and is relatively easy to fix.
How-to Fix Jerky / Laggy Mouse Movement on a Mac
1. Put your computer to sleep, by clicking on the Apple icon on the right corner and click ‘Sleep’, or by pressing the power button once
2. Wake the computer up by pressing any key on the keyboard. You will notice after your computer wakes up that the jerky and laggy movements of the mouse is gone!
There are no permanent solution to fix this issue, although the temporary fix is easy to do and quite effective.
